Short Video Scripts: a Tokeny case study
Generate storyboard scripts with scene descriptions, voiceover copy, and timing plans. Follow the recorded task, execution screenshots, actual files and verification notes.

Prepare the inputs
Create a separate workspace in Tokeny, download and unpack the sample inputs, then select a model that supports tools. The sample uses synthetic data or the public sources named in the article.

Send the task to Tokeny
The original task was executed in Chinese. Copying these instructions reproduces the same task; the results below include an English report.
为产品写一个 45 秒的竖屏短视频分镜脚本,给出时间段、画面、旁白、字幕、素材需求,只制作脚本文档。 交付文件:storyboard.csv、script.md。
The recorded run used an isolated demonstration workspace. Review the commands and file paths before approving operations in your own workspace.
What actually ran
The task was submitted through the Tokeny input box. An online model read the inputs and executed tools. This run covers the local sample task and its actual files. Results and checks are recorded below.
Results and verification
Input
I read product-brief.md and ENVIRONMENT.md from the workspace before drafting. The product brief identifies Songguo Task Board as a fictional demonstration product for teams of three to ten people. The documented functions are a task list, assignee field, due date, and CSV export. The free plan supports up to three people, while the team plan costs RMB 29 per person per month. The brief explicitly says not to invent customer testimonials, sales figures, or third-party endorsements, and states that the product has no mobile app, AI scheduling, or third-party authentication. No public URL or real interface capture was supplied.
Processing
I mapped the documented functions to a 45-second vertical video workflow. The storyboard contains seven consecutive shots lasting 4, 7, 7, 8, 9, 7, and 3 seconds. The sum is exactly 45 seconds. The sequence introduces the task list, assigns owners, adds a due date, shows a three-person team view, exports a CSV, and closes with the supplied pricing. Each shot has separate fields for visual direction, voice-over, subtitle, and required assets. The same content is represented in both the CSV delivery file and the Markdown script so the two documents remain aligned.
Actual Result
The workspace now contains storyboard.csv, script.md, report.md, and report.en.md. These are script documents only; no video, product account, external publication, payment, or outbound communication was created. The asset column identifies the required screen recordings, demo tasks, names, date label, CSV preview, brand color, product name, and pricing text for every shot. Demo names, tasks, and dates are explicitly treated as synthetic material.
Verification
I re-read all four generated files as UTF-8 text and checked that the CSV has the required columns and seven non-empty shot rows. I verified that each end time equals the next start time, that the first start is 00:00, the final end is 00:45, and that the numeric durations sum to 45. I also compared the voice-over and subtitle claims against the product brief, checking for prohibited claims and unsupported features. File presence, non-empty content, and report completeness were included in the check.
Limitations
The workspace contains no real product UI or public reference URL, so the exact appearance of controls, export behavior, and pricing page could not be validated. The interface recordings and all sample records remain production requirements, not completed assets. Voice-over length was estimated from short Chinese lines and shot durations; recording, subtitle safe-area review, rendering, playback, and human listening tests were not performed. The validation covers document structure and factual boundaries, not visual quality or final video timing after editing.
Download and inspect the outputs
The archive contains the files created during this run. Use these checks when adapting the example to your own data.
- Reconcile the reported results against the downloadable sample inputs.
- Open the generated files and check the contents relevant to your task.
- Review the limitations and any unverified steps in the report.
