Git Workflow Management: a Tokeny case study
Auto-generate standardized commit messages, manage branching strategies, and assist code reviews. Follow the recorded task, execution screenshots, actual files and verification notes.

Prepare the inputs
Create a separate workspace in Tokeny, download and unpack the sample inputs, then select a model that supports tools. The sample uses synthetic data or the public sources named in the article.
- app.mjs
- source.bundle
Send the task to Tokeny
The original task was executed in Chinese. Copying these instructions reproduces the same task; the results below include an English report.
仅在本目录的演示 Git 仓库中审查待提交差异,创建 feature/csv-export 分支,提交范围明确的变更,输出 commit hash 与审查说明;不推送远程。 交付文件:git-review.md。
The recorded run used an isolated demonstration workspace. Review the commands and file paths before approving operations in your own workspace.
What actually ran
The task was submitted through the Tokeny input box. An online model read the inputs and executed tools. Git operations target a separate demonstration repository. No remote push was performed.
Results and verification
Input
Read app.mjs, ENVIRONMENT.md, and .tokeny/manifest.json in the current workspace, then inspected Git status, diff, history, and remote configuration. The only initial code diff was app.mjs, adding the csv-export feature flag. .tokeny/ and ENVIRONMENT.md were untracked demo-environment inputs.
Steps
- Reviewed the initial working-tree diff and limited the commit to
app.mjs. - Created and checked out
feature/csv-export. - Committed
app.mjswith messagefeat: enable csv export. - Generated this report, the Chinese report, and the review note.
Actual Result
The commit was created successfully: 70c2c1bb69f9fcc88bdefa31dd193561ad85921f. The current branch is feature/csv-export; the commit contains one file with one insertion and one deletion. No remote is configured, and no push was called or executed.
Verification
Used git status --short --branch, git diff, git log, git remote -v, git show, and git rev-parse HEAD to verify status, scope, remotes, commit content, and the full hash. Imported the module with Node.js and checked that features contains csv-export.
Limitations
The repository contains only a feature declaration, with no CSV export implementation, tests, or build scripts. End-to-end export behavior and edge cases were therefore not verified. The reports were generated after the code commit and are not included in that commit.
Download and inspect the outputs
The archive contains the files created during this run. Use these checks when adapting the example to your own data.
- Reconcile the reported results against the downloadable sample inputs.
- Open the generated files and check the contents relevant to your task.
- Review the limitations and any unverified steps in the report.
